Project Title: A Community-Driven Tree Planting Initiative for Adaptation and Revitalization in Pulaski, NY

Project Description: Developed and implemented in close collaboration with the Village of Pulaski and the Pulaski School District through a participatory planning process, this project will identify and develop tree planting projects that strengthen local climate resilience, enhance water quality, and engage residents and students in shaping a greener future for their community. The project deliverables are as follows:
- 3 Community Workshops w/ workshop materials, including educational guides and community engagement reports
- A collection of tree planting projects with detailed site analysis, and tree planting plans outlining species, locations, special planting design/requirement (tree trench, tree pit, edible forest, etc.), and the planting benefits
- 1-2 community planting event(s) focused on hands on involvement and education on tree planting and maintenance.
- At least 70 trees to be planted, with one event to be held at Pulaski Academy Middle-High School
- Final project report summarizing outcomes, lessons learned, and future recommendations
